Safety Policy Statement

Asiana Airport provides all services within the scope of the Safety Management System (SMS) and strictly complies with standards for occupational safety, health, and security and regards safety as the highest priority. Asiana Airport constantly improves safety & security programs and processes, and set up the following environment to achieve them.

■: Appoint a person in charge and manage the system to comply with relevant laws and organizational requirements, plans, and performance.
■: Provide necessary human and material resources to establish, manage, implement and improve the SMS.
■: Analyze and manage the root causes and risks of all issues regarding safety measures, establishing preventive procedures to mitigate them.
■: Promote a safety reporting system to identify the risk, systematically manage and analyze safety information
■: Information collected from voluntary safety reporting will not be used for punitive purposes
■: Human errors such as unintentional mistakes or misunderstandings, which are not due to negligence or intentional misconduct, will not be penalized. However, responsibility will be clearly determined for actions that violate laws, regulations, or are intentionally breached.

To achieve the goal, all employees implement the following:

■: All employees maintain safety and security awareness, comply with the applicable laws and regulations, and implement continuously improvement of the safety management system.
■: All employees fulfill responsibilities and liabilities to meet safety and security performance and the needs of all stakeholders, including the customer airlines.

The company and employees work together with trust, open communication, and regular safety policy reviews to foster a proactive safety culture.
